Getting discount food supplies direct from factory

Ok, this is not a holiday trip posting but a great reference for people who love to drive around and get discount food product from the factory directly.

This stretch of road (Woodlands Terrace) is where you can buy food directly from the factory.

If you want to have Turkey, Ham or different type of Sausages for your party, you can give them a visit where they sell lots of different meat product. Just go directly to 2nd floor and place your order with them. They accept cash and nets but do note that you need to pay additional 2% if you want to use nets.



If you want to have sashimi or seafood platter. You can go to their walk in freezer to pick your item. Their salmon fly all the way from Norway.



You want log cake, brownies, cookies, etc? Give them a visit and sample as much as you want!



I don't think I need to introduce this factory :p


Just beside this factory is the Fragrances BBQ pork, you can get some discount if you buy from them during the Chinese New Year period and they do have other New Year goodies.

Day trip to kukup 16/9/2006

My last trip to kukup was about 8~9 years ago and so decided to check out the place and find out how much it had develop

Started my journey at around 9am and reach kukup at around 11am. Parked my car at one of the carpark operated by the local and this operator even provide free transport to ferry us to the kukup ferry and back ... WOW!!

saw a layout of chalet with the contact number, the villager provide home stay type of experience for tourist which include and the main meal, tea break and a BBQ supper



this is one of the dessert you must try when your there! the jelly is filled with difference filling. There are yam, red bean, corn, chocolate, etc. YUMMY!!



Time for lunch, we went to the restaurant nearest to the jetty


some dish that we order ... Since we are @ the fishing village, seafood is a must have dish for our lunch :p








better ask for pricing before you order, the clayfish cost us RM44 for 2 pcs, feel like a carrot head when we pay for the bill but the clay fish is big

Verdict of the lunch, food is ok and enjoyable till we receive the bill

after lunch, we took a boat ride to see the village from the water

the boat bought us to a kelong and we tour around the small kelong with some kids introducing us some of the fishes they have.

After the boat trip, we decided to call it a call and head off to Singapore

While on the way back, we detour to the southern most tip of the mainland asia



we didn't go visit the swamp as we need to pay RM10/person =(

Its was an enjoyable experience but I dun think I will visit them in the near future, maybe another 10years time =)
